Really happy with this case. I did not purchase it to use it for the Akai APC 64. It was instead intended to fit, because I travel a lot, an electronic laptop cooling fan/pad that was size specific and I can say that it’s a perfect fit and I’m very satisfied with my purchase. Amazing but heavy!

I was never a big fan of having the CD players inside a case during shows, since it ruined the aesthetics. However, this case fits perfectly with the CDJs and the DJM. The quality is excellent, and the laptop stand also works perfectly for an RMX, sampler, or effects module. The build is superb—nothing like the custom-made cases you can usually buy. The gear fits flawlessly. The wheels are greatly appreciated, since it weighs 42.5 kg with 2 CDJs and 1 DJM A9, which, together with its size, makes it impossible for one person to lift it onto a table. The weight is definitely something to consider. In my case, I couldn’t take it on an international flight with all the gear inside. I had to remove the mixer and carry it in the cabin, as the total weight exceeded the airline’s limits.
