UDG finds Silver Lining

Organizers of DJ events worldwide say the current economic recession, that is reaching global markets far and wide, could actually hold long-term benefit for the DJ industry.

Citing a similar occurrence in other specialty sectors, they say that many entrepreneurs interested in launching their own businesses could take advantage of the potentially lucrative opportunities that the DJ industry offers.They expect attendance at nightclubs to grow and in turn the need for DJ's to grow as well.

In anticipation, UDG will introduce several new product lines in 2009 designed to reach both new and established DJ's and highlight those whose practices provide examples for others to follow.

"Our goal is to create opportunities that can't be found elsewhere, to provide value to DJ's and to meet the needs of a growing industry", said Michael Schmeitz, president and founder of UDG.
